Everyone knows we love new toys here at the Twisted Headquarters, so of course we have to share the news with our favorite people–you guys! The ECOHEADS shampoo shower head is the newest addition to our salon, and the most environmentally friendly! Not only does it have a sleek, modern look that perfectly compliments our unique space, but it also reduces water usage by 65%. That means instead of using up to 150 gallons/day with a standard shower head, we are now only going through up to 98 gallons! Yay for less water wastage! 🚿💦

The ECOHEADS shower head system was created only 4 years ago in Australia by two young bright-eyed entrepreneurs. Kevin Murphy salons were the first lucky spaces to play with the eco-friendly shower head, and they have encouraged other salons all over the world to jump on board with this unique, modern system. 🌎 The recycled plastic nozzle contains tourmaline beads and mineral filters to reduce chlorine, sediment, dirt, and other things we don’t want from the water, meanwhile generating negative ions that makes hair soft and touchable. Though it does reduce water usage, the water pressure is doubled, which cuts color rinsing time by 50% and gives the client (that’s you!) a fantastic scalp massage in the process. 💆🏽‍♀️🧖🏼‍♀️

Yesterday was a very special day here at the Twisted Headquarters – this curly headed cutie got his first haircut! 🎉✂️

Simeon is one of our youngest Twisted Tykes and we were so grateful to be able to share this milestone with him and his momma! Simeon enjoys long naps, dancing to Motown, and getting his hair cut by “Uncle Christopher”! He did such an amazing job that his next haircut should be a breeze! 😉
