Here at the Twisted Scissor we believe in giving back to the community.   As stylists we make women and men feel great about themselves every day.  With this talent busting at the seams of our small eclectic salon we recognize that there are women in our community who can use a boost but maybe at a point in their life where a day at the salon doesn’t even make their priority list.  We are currently in negotiations to partner with some of Lexington’s local women’s support organizations to offer free cut and styles to their clients.  We hope with our skills in the area of beauty we can be a small part in building these women amazing women!

Philanthropy means the love of humanity, in the sense of caring and nourishing, it involves both the benefactor in their identifying and exercising their values, and the beneficiary in their receipt and benefit from the service or goods provided.
